I suggest wearing solid colors; dark clothes attract less attention to them and more attention to your face and eyes. It is important to wear clothes that are comfortable and ones that you feel you look great. V-necks elongate the face, short sleeves or sleeveless usually do not look good in headshots; suits are great as additional looks for men. Come with any products you prefer to wear on your face and hair, nails manicured, lip balm, your favorite CD, your old headshots. If you are doing your own make-up come with make-up already on and hair as if you were going on an audition. If you are using a make-up artist come with your hair ready and no make-up whatsoever. Do not get a haircut the day before or use any new product on your hair or face. If you have any allergies caused by make-up be sure to call us so we can make the necessary adjustments. Come in wearing your first look. Be sure to get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water. Do not use drugs or alcohol before the shoot.
